            When I was outside looking for animals and plants for our blog, I came across this small plant in woods behind my house and it had an odd foamy substance on it. I have never seen such a thing! Does anyone know what it is?

This is a manatee. He was taken in by the manatee reserve in Sarteneja, Belize because he was sick. Classification- Kingdom: Animalia, Phylum: Chordata, Class: Mammalia, Order: Sirenia, Family: Trichechidae, Genus: Trichechus, Species: West Indian ~Kaleigh












This is an iguana that fell out of a palm tree in San Pedro, Belize. I refused to hold it. It was probably 4 or 5 feet long. Classification- Kingdom: Animalia, Phylum: Chordata, Class: Reptilia, Order: SquamataFamily: Iguanidae, Genus: Iguana. I couldn't find what species it was. ~Kaleigh
